Ultra Compact Rotary Actuator

Our torque actuators generate torque with a piston which has the helical gear. By generated torque, driven equipment is operated at predetermined angle.
Type UTA actuator has often used for ball valves and butterfly valves since beginning of production.

Operating Principle

1.The hydraulic pressure will be conducted from the power unit to ● the Room A.
   ⇓
2.The liner movement of ● a piston generated by the oil pressure is transformed into a rotational
  movement through the helical gear.
   ⇓
3.The rotation of the piston is conveyed to a shaft and torque is generated.
   ⇓
4.The piston moves up to its stroke end, then the rotation is stopped.

※ In case the hydraulic pressure is conducted to ● the Room B, torque which makes an inverse
  rotation is generated.

Standard Spec

・ torque output ; 30 ~ 8000 Nm 
・ rated pressure ; 14.0 MPa (140 bar) 
・ angular degree ; up to 360°

C.O.C basically creates customer-made products. Therefore, we are willing to consider new actuators equipped with non-standard torque output and angular degree. Please feel free to tell us your requirements.
